Short answer: Low-limit tables ($5 and under) are still around in Vegas. You'll mostly find them downtown and off-Strip, with a few on the Strip. Minimums change by time of day, so always check the placard before you sit down.

Spots reported with low-limit tables (as of late 2025):
  • Downtown Grand: $5 blackjack, craps and roulette, plus some $1 blackjack
  • The Plaza: $5 blackjack, craps and roulette
  • Ellis Island: $5 table games
  • South Point: $5 craps and blackjack
  • The Palms: $5 craps and blackjack
  • Rio: $3 craps during the day, rising to $5 to $15 when it's busy
  • Excalibur: $5 blackjack
  • OYO: one $1 blackjack table
Tips for finding cheap tables:
  • Go mornings and weekdays. Minimums often rise at night and on weekends.
  • Check the rules, not just the minimum. Some low-limit blackjack pays 6:5 on a blackjack instead of 3:2, which costs you more over time.
  • Ask a floor supervisor when they lower the minimums.
  • Join the casino's player club so your table play earns comps.
