Oklahoma has one of the biggest tribal gaming scenes in the country, and nearly all of it is run by tribal nations. Here are a few of the best-known resorts to start the conversation:
- WinStar World Casino & Resort, Thackerville (Chickasaw Nation). Just north of the Texas line. A huge gaming floor with table games, poker, bingo and off-track betting, plus a large hotel, golf and a concert venue.
- Choctaw Casino & Resort, Durant (Choctaw Nation). Near Lake Texoma, with slots, table games, poker, a hotel, spa and live entertainment.
- Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa, Catoosa (Cherokee Nation). Hotel, Hard Rock Live theater and an 18-hole golf course.
- River Spirit Casino Resort, Tulsa (Muscogee Nation). Resort hotel on the Arkansas River with Margaritaville and a theater.
- Osage Casino Hotel, Tulsa (Osage Nation). Smaller hotel, pool, and music venues.
- FireLake / Grand Casino, Shawnee (Citizen Potawatomi Nation).
- No sports betting. Oklahoma still hasn't legalized it. A 2026 bill failed in the state Senate, and the ballot measure never made it to the November 2026 ballot.
- Rules for minimum age, alcohol, and table games can vary by tribe and casino, so check before you go.
- Many machines may be Class II (bingo-based) games that look like slots.
