Legacy of Dead is Play'n GO's other Egyptian book-style slot, built around a free spins round with expanding symbols.
Quick facts - Provider: Play'n GO - Released: January 2020 - RTP: 96.58% (top version; operators can run lower versions, so check the info screen) - Volatility: High - Layout: 5 reels, 3 rows, 10 paylines - Max win: 5,000x your bet
How the bonus works Three or more scatter symbols trigger the free spins. Before the first spin, the game randomly sets an expanding symbol and how many free spins you get, with up to 10 spins available. As in other book-style slots, the expanding symbol covers its whole reel when it can form a win. Landing three or more scatters again during the feature can add more spins. A gamble option is offered on bonus wins.
Compared with Book of Dead, the format will feel very familiar, but the RTP is slightly higher and the spin count varies at the start of the bonus.
Worth knowing / watch out for - Like most book slots, nearly all the big wins come from the free spins with a premium expanding symbol. - High volatility: expect long stretches without a bonus. - Real-money play depends on your state and casino. Check your casino's game lobby.
Poll: How would you rate Legacy of Dead? - 5 – Excellent - 4 – Good - 3 – Average - 2 – Poor - 1 – Avoid
If you've played both, do you prefer Legacy of Dead or Book of Dead, and has the starting spin count been generous for you?
